![]() It adds up to quality and comfort of a very high order. (In case you don’t know, Slim Aarons was known for his photographs of socialites, jet-setters and celebrities in the 1950s.) The beds can’t be beat and the good-sized bathrooms are equipped with big walk-in showers (a few rooms have tubs as well) and high-end, locally produced bath products. Big windows, big city views, natural wood and stone finishes and luxurious fabrics with pops of color add a polished flair to the decor, and so do the two or three photographs by Slim Aarons that hang in every room. But once you’re in your roomy room, you probably won’t want to leave anyway. ![]() The lobby is surprisingly small and seems somewhat disconnected from the rest of the hotel. The new owners have given it a sophisticated elegance without sacrificing comfort. Dossier opened in summer 2017 after a complete remake of a rather bland Westin hotel from the 1980s.
